We all lose things in our life, some things are more valuable than others. This article is how to handle losing things. We all lose our virginity at one point or another and that’s a good thing, or I should say Fantastic thing.
Some of us lose our minds, not such a good thing. Some people think I’ve lost my mind doing what I do now. I’m at a point in my life where I try not to collect “things”, I collect moments which I find much more valuable. I did Lose quite a few things while on the road these last 343 days. Let’s see, left go pro camera on a plane, lost a great shirt I bought at Kentucky Derby, I lost my Ray Ban sunglasses and was lucky to find them on a waiter a few days later. I lost the case and it was returned 10 days later by a mini bus driver, lost my phone in upper Egypt in another mini bus, took a tok tok to try and chase down the bus and found a guy in the street with my phone, it was a miracle. I lost my wallet two days ago with my debit card, Egypt Visa and 1800le which is about $1000 U.S. I’ve lost over $5000 in expensive sunglasses, (strange you can’t lose the inexpensive ones), I’ve lost some very expensive gold and diamond rings and I’m sure much more.
Luckily I erase bad memories from my mind. I NEVER let these loses or anything upset me in my life, life is too short to mourn loss or be upset by it. Things are replaceable, money comes and goes. I actually feel real great knowing some Egyptian found the money which will go a long way for him/her. Losing something immediately becomes an event in the past and I try not to be concerned with the past, not too much concerned for the future but get great joy enjoying the moment, like this one writing this article which I hope might put a smile on your face.
